Customer Review: 3 Years of Solid Dependable Use

I bought two of these sheds and placed them side-by-side behind my garage. And after 3 years of use I've been extremely pleased with them.
My primary reason for buying these was because they were inexpensive and easy to assemble. Eventually I would like to build my own larger permanent shed, but for now these fit my needs perfectly. One shed holds all our garden tools (about 15-20 hanging on the walls), gardening pots, hoses and even a full size lawnmower. The other shed fits all our outdoor/pool toys, camping supplies and 2 adult bicycles. I've made good use of the space by bolting hanging tool racks on each side and freestanding plastic shelving/cabinets from sterilite that match the colors. I also rigged electrical cords and touch lights on the ceiling. I am 5'8" and I can stand in them with at least 5 inches to spare above my head.
The assembly was very easy-- I put them together myself with a power screwdriver and mallet and it took about an hour for each one. I only needed the instructions in a few places, otherwise it was all intuitive. The large panels snap together easily. The trickiest part is the ceiling because its in 2 pieces... but once you get it in place it just takes a few good solid hits to snap into place. They feel very solid, like thick plastic bins, but double layered with hollow space in the middle. I've have held at least 2 feet of packed snow on top of them during the winter with no buckling and I even tried laying on the roof with no problem. After 3 years of harsh Wisconsin sun and winters they have not cracked faded or leaked at all-- they still look brand new inside and out. I'm especially impressed by how dry everything is and no bugs/spiderwebs inside. Also the floors are very nice thick rubber material that is easy to clean with a hose or leaf blower. And there are vents near the ceiling so they don't turn into ovens in the summer.
I guess the only negatives I have is that wind must create pressure inside and the doors kept blowing open. This was fixed by putting carabiner clips on the door latches. The doors are somewhat flimsy at center where they meet and the trim pieces had to be reattached a few times. And while items are relatively secure inside, the flimsy latches would easy to break.
Highly recommended for a sturdy inexpensive storage shed.
One more comment on the snow/rain resistance: Really its never been an issue for me. The only gap where moisture could get in are the vents on each side wall near the top, and its been through blizzards and severe thunderstorms with out affecting anything inside. Because the parts just snap together, I guess I'd be a little concerned about how these would handle extreme wind conditions, but where I have them they haven't been affected.
