I bought these because it's so hard to find the lock-n-lock and I figured I'd try these as a substitute. I was pleasantly surprised, I don't think they're as good as the lock-n-lock, but they are running a great second. I can't seem to get the lids to lock on the bottom for easy storage, but other than that, my only other regret is that I didn't order two.Customer Review: ho hum

If your looking for something that seals tight, these are not for you.
They work ok in the fridge for a few days.
Don't turn 'em upside down with liquid in them. Unless it's over the sink.
Come to think of it, zip lock bags work better.

We use locked-lid for transporting food back and forth from our cottage. Locked-lid containers are critical because they inevitably get tipped. These expensive Rubbermaid container covers WARP AND LEAK. The cheaper Rubbermaids do fine. The locked-lid containers of other manufacturers do fine. But the red-edge locked-lid Rubbermaid containers are an expensive failure. Consumer Reports magazine discovered the same problem when rating storage containers. Rubbermaid is a great company. They make other good storage containers, but this one with the red gasket is not a good one.Customer Review: Container melts and pieces get in your food.

I am very disappointed with this product. The Lock-it tops are nice and seal well, but the containers are very low quality plastic which blistered, discolored and peeled after just one use in the microwave. Even just warming food on low settings caused damage. Some of the plastic comes off in the food your heating. I tried to call and emailed Rubbermaid and they were completely unresponsive. I would steer clear of this product, I don't feel it is safe. I wasted money on two sets which are now unusable.Customer Review: what a waste

They leak, enough said. I could go on but why waste the space. These things suck. Give me a good lid on an ordinary storage unit and it will beat these things hands down. Some of the newer disposable storage containers are better than these things. A complete waste of money.
