The Rubbermaid Food Storage Containers are highly recommended. We particularly like the way the lids stack together and fit multiple container sizes. We've had 2 other less expensive sets by Glad and ?? which are very inferior. We donated them to Goodwill.
We find we use the 2 and 3 cup containers the most. We seldom use the .5 or 1.25 cup containers.
This is our second set of 24 Rubbermaid Food Storage Containers. We've enjoyed the first set of 24 so well, we ordered a second set. We like the 24 quantity set over the other options as it has an additional 2 cup container which we use frequently. Also, 2 of the 24 container sets are less expensive than a 48 or 50 container set.

I had an old set of Martha Stewart Everyday plastic food storage containers that I had been using for several years, and really liked, but they were getting old, missing lids etc, so I decided to try this set. I found this same set on base at my PX and was very pleased since other chain superstores didn't have this size set.
After I unpacked and washed them all I couldn't believe how well they sealed compared to my old set of MSE. Also, the convenience of several different size bowls having the same size lid is genius! My old containers took up about a 3 foot section of shelf space in my pantry, this set, takes up about 10 square inches!!! The whole set stacks in one stack including all the lids. I am so happy to have the extra storage space and the ease of finding both pieces so much faster. I will be buying a second set of these! I really just love them.
I've had the set about 2 full weeks and use them everyday, I have not noticed any staining, warping, or melting. I have stored everything from bbq chicken, to chili, to spaghetti, with no stains. I have reheated a lot of things and have not had any problems with bubbling the plastic or any warping. I will say, I do not heat things for longer than 30 second intervals in any plastic ever, (since the longer you microwave plastic the more chemicals that release from the plastic) and these do not even get hot to the touch like my old set would, using the same microwave and times.
Bonus they are BPA free! Even better that I expected. If I could give this set 10 stars I would! I can't remember being so happy with a simple purchase like this in a while!

My wife and I have always been unintentional collectors of food storage containers. They find their way to our house without us purchasing them (leftovers, parties, etc.), and we are re-users so we would continually add them to our collection. After years of this practice, our cabinets were overrun with containers of all different bands and sizes, stacked haphazardly, many missing lids. It would take a long time to find the right size and then track down a lid, and if any guests asked for their container back, we had no hope of distinguishing ours from theirs.
Enter the Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid Food Storage Container Set. We recycled all of our old containers, and consolidated from two whole cabinets down to a single shelf in a single cabinet. Now we can immediately find the appropriate size container with matching lid, and if a guest leaves behind a foreign container we either recycle it or know who to return it to. The 24-piece set has a great variety of sizes, and there's never been an instance of us needing an additional container. My only complaint is that the lids can be difficult to click into each other when stacking, but all of the pros far outweigh this one con. I can't believe we went for so long without these!

I've had so many different tupperware type containers over the years, i had a real nasty mixed up bunch wasting a ton of space in one of my cupboards. I finally decided it was time to lose as much of it as I could and get a single set again that stacked well.
Nicely made, the pieces snap onto the tops of the lids for easy storage. It is so nice to just pull the whole pile out as one piece, peel a lid from the bottom, slide a container out from the top, and good to go.
I'm using about 20% of the cupboard space I was using after getting rid of the junk I had and putting these in their place. Caused me to rearrange my whole kitchen to make it more efficient.
Tops snap into place well, so you don't feel like you're always double checking to make sure it sealed right like some others I've used.
Don't know that I'll ever have a use for the little ones, but the rest are already coming in handy, and I find myself keeping a few more things than I normally would (not a big leftover kind of guy).
Very happy with the purchase and value.

These store very compactly. It is a lot easier when you have a uniform set for storage purposes clean and unclean. theyu have cleaned up nice and easy, but I havent put ketchup in them yet.so that would be the real test. they are aLSO BPA Free which is what you need when storing food.I wish they include a bigger size container which is sold separately. I was kind of mad from amazon because the price dropped almost 30% after I purchased them they should have a price adjustment policy for purchases within 10 days or 30 days period come on you guys! I was so fed up with the mess in my container drawer that I decided to get rid of all those nasty locking mechanism container that gather mold and take forever to assemble after washing them . I take them apart when I wash them because otherwise they will gather mold. you can store them in a corner of the drawer with the cover, they all fit inside each other and many use the same size cover. One problem I have though is if I loan them out, I may never get them back.
