Customer Review: The handles are not so good if you have to go a distance

I live in NYC and the laundromat is about 5 blocks away. The handles are tough on your hands if you go that distance. I used to have a cheap mesh one with some give in the handles that was easier to take.
My usage is probably different from most so take this as you like.

It's important as consumers to know the true value of something. So when I rate this product 2/5 stars, I want anyone reading to know why:
Quality - For a product that is 'Made in China', but carry's a 'Made in the USA' price, I expect solid quality. Instead, I got crummy stitching with blue thread sometimes peaking out on the 'canvas' outside of the hamper. And the top trim literally out of the package, not even stitched properly, the fabric is just flapping around on the ends. Needless to say, it looks cheap, because it is.
Function - Also lacking is portability. Don't be deceived by the handle or the crease on the sides, which make it appear like you can easily fold the top together like a brown paper bag. The hamper is very rigid. So if you have to move it, you end up having to do a odd looking shuffle, as you carry around what is basically a stiff box.
Price - After my experience, I'd say to anyone, don't pay more then $5. I am extremely disappointed. As a busy college student I don't have the time to ship it back, but ill refrain from buying from 'Rubbermaid' again. I guess they think it was worth fleecing me once and loosing a customer for life.

I purchase three of Rubbermaid 4D06 Configurations 23-Inch Fold-able Laundry Hampers at the end of June, 2010. And in early September, one of them has the bottom stitching broken. We do laundry once a week and the basic moves are just lift up, hold it to the laundry room, put down, and after laundry, lift up, hold it back to bathroom, put down. I cannot believe the quality is so bad that it can't even last three months. I heard the hampers from IKEA are better and cheaper.Customer Review: what the

I have 4 of these and was considering another. They are extremely useful. BUT When I bought these in August 07 They were $11.99 each. I found this to be a reasonable price and a good value. $79.99 is absurd. Is this a typo or a multi-pack?? I find no reference to more than one being sold so it is either a major typo or highway robbery. I certainly hope it is the former and will be corrected soon.Customer Review: Poor quality; difficult to clean

I bought 3 and I wish I hadn't. Without getting wet or moist directly, the outside got very moldy. Difficult to clean.
