Geez...never would've expected to see more than 20 reviews for a laundry hamper. Oh, excuse me...a "foldable" laundry hamper. My fault.
Well, I guess I should contribute to this continuing endeavor:
First off, I really like the plastic lining of this particular hamper. The fabric exterior, while attractive, gave me momentary pause as well, dirty laundry can be, well...pretty dirty. Do you really want wet/stained laundry to eventually stain your hamper from the inside out? It'll start looking pretty gnarly. No girl/guy wants to see that in your room. EVER.
The size of the hamper is also just right. Unless you're switching outfits multiple times a day (some girls I knew would at my alma mater would change 4 times in a day), the hamper will comfortably hold a week and a half's worth of clothes (if you wait more than 2 weeks to do laundry, tsk tsk tsk...didn't your mother teach you that clean clothes are next to godliness?).
Finally, the folding option...it's nice. If you're going to need to be mobile for the next few months (like 80% of us recent college grads), you appreciate compactness. This barely takes up any space when collapsed (now you're ready for that roadtrip...with your trusty Rubbermaid 23-Inch Foldable Laundry Hamper).
Go for it champ...it's a good buy.

I ordered these hampers after reading the reviews and being lucky enough to catch them on a deal of the day for nearly 8 a piece. They are NOT 61 inches as the description states, rather 24 inches high and a perfect square shape; or atleast I assume.
They are foldable into a flat board and easily stored away into a closet, under a bed, or behind a couch. The cream/beige color is visually appealing and can fit into many decor types. I like the fact that the inside is a waterproof, wipe-down surface. I would say the best feature would have to be the handle cut-outs on the side making them a cinch to carry out from the bathroom to the kitchen for laundry day.
We are a family of five and I happy very pleased to report that these hold our whole load, where laundry bags wouldn't. We use the other one to hold all the various toys thrown throughout our apartment.
We like the fact that they can bend because we have placed ours behind our bathroom door. There is no fear of hearing that "THUMP" sound everytime some slams the door into it because it is soft and bends.
Wonderful purchase... just not at the higher price point.

these laundry baskets are awesome. I got them from Amazon a couple yrs ago, and then bought a few more when they went down to around 7 bucks each recently.
Completely love them. They are great for people with weak hands or difficulty grasping things. They keep the weight of it in front of you and more narrow than a wide plastic basket, which is harder on your hands. They also stack, even though they don't advertise that. During crazy laundry backups, I stack them two at a time while I catch up on laundry. They can sit in each bedroom and bathroom to collect the laundry, then carry them right to the laundry room, instead of transferring from a hamper to a basket.
Also, the inside wipes clean with a damp cloth, or you can do what I do and just spray it with a few quick spritzes of Febreze. I put ribbons around the ones I use for just clean clothes, from the dryer, so I can differentiate them from the ones I use for dirty clothes.
I really can't recommend these highly enough. They hold quite a bit, and save a lot of time and energy while doing laundry.

I was offered this on a daily deal for under $12 and jumped on it. I really don't like the hard plastic and rectangular laundry baskets and wanted something that would look decent in my bedroom. As others have said, the color blends in and the size is perfect for just about any location. I came back to buy another one for (on the road) travels, since it folds down so easily.
It holds more than I expected and has held up very well. When I first received it, I thought it would not last long, but we use it daily and have had no issues. It takes up less room and is much more pleasing to the eye than a traditional laundry basket. No more dented or scratched walls or door facings from an accidental bump.
Thus far, we have not needed to clean it so I cannot attest to how well the canvas would do. The inside is lined so that it can hold wet or muddy items without soaking through. I don't put things like that in my laundry hampers anyway, so I cannot attest to how well the lining works. As I said above, I like it so much that I'm back to buy another one (or two).

I like my laundry hampers to be easily accessible, which means I need them to be 'out' and not in a closet. I have 2 kids and need them to be sturdy and easy to carry.
This hamper does it all. The canvas colored outside is simple, not flashy and sleek. The blue vinyl-type inside adds just a splash of color, is easily wiped down and prevents leakage should I have a damp cloth in there.
There are handles cut out of the sides that can become a bit uncomfortable if the hamper becomes too heavy. But the handles are also sturdy. The flexibility makes it easy to put as much in it as I need, since it isn't rigid.
I love that they collapse, should I not need all 3 that I bought at any given time. Thus far, they are rating 5 stars!
I will fully admit to being a little nervous about their longevity. The sides are seemingly made of heavy duty cardboard covered with canvas. For now, there is no indication that they will fall apart. But for the price, I can't say that its not worth it.
