Customer Review: Perfect Storage for my Tree!

I decided to order this item after the original box that my Christmas tree came in began to fall apart. I looked up several of the other storage products here on Amazon.com and this one received better reviews and had the Rubbermaid brand name to back it up. My tree was fairly expensive, so I wanted to find something that would hold up and protect the tree. Although my tree is 9ft. tall, it is skinny, so I was worried about it fitting in to the bag, so I ordered two. At $14.00 (and free shipping) this was the least expensive and best option- I am very pleased with the product so far. I packed two sections of the tree in one bag and the other two sections in the other bag. I even had room left over in one of the bags for my artificial evergreen garland, which is 8-9ft long and pretty full. The bags seem sturdy and the zippers functioned just fine. There is no structure to the bag so it will form into whatever shape is put into it. I was careful about putting the sharper end of the tree away from one of the corners, since another poster had said that her bad had ripped open with a sharp end of the tree. So far it is a great and inexpensive way to store my tree!Customer Review: Sturdy and convenient

This bag was so much easier than a box, and no tape needed, as in years past. You don't have to fold the limbs up as much. I didn't have to take apart the middle and top section of my tree. It fit my 7 1/2" tree very easily in two sections. It seems nice and tough, and no tears were created in transporting it to my garage. I wrapped a washcloth around the bottom of the tree, since my plugs are missing, and wrapped it with a rubber-band. I don't think it is at risk of poking through the tough bag, and it looks like it will hold up for years to come. The handles were touch enough for transporting.
It set up against my wall the long way up and down quite nicely, with no problems. The zipper zips both ways which is a nice little feature for slipping things into the bag. I had no problem fitting the stand into the bag.

I bought this bag because it is made by a name I trust, Rubbermaid. I also chose it for its' size as I have a tree that is 270m in height.
There was not a lot of room left over once my tree was put in it, I guess i could have put a wreath or two in it on top.
I just didn't do that as my tree is very heavy and I didn't want my wreathes messed up.
I did need help picking up the bag once filled with my tree, but luckily I still have the original box of the tree and was able to put the bag in it.
This helped as since this bag is very long I need it to stand up in storage and the bag on its' own will not do that.
This is very important to think about for storage purposes.
Also, this bag would serve for good use for other things besides only christmas trees.

It works. However by the picture you would think that it has a box like frame that keeps its shape.
Actually it does not. It has no frame and after placing the items within it takes the shape more like a Duffel Bag.
The material is rather flimsy, I expected a thicker plastic. But at the price it is a good value. You have to be very careful with the metal parts of the tree, which can easily puncture the plastic. But if placed carefully inside the bag, it serves its purpose.
The handle defitely helps in trasporting and storing.

The bag is great and it is huge however it does not form a rectangle shape as shown on the picture. I did add cardboard on the bag to give it a rectangle shape. I was also able to add other Christmas decor such as a wreath, ornaments, and lights in this bag. The bag is thin so I would suggest you line it with cardboard or bags to keep the tree ends/stand from poking the bag. Overall I am happy I purchased this bag and at tue price of $9!
