Ordered the deluxe 4-8' closet system and several accessories for both me and my husband's 8' closets. I ordered just one sliding wire basket for myself to see how it was (it was a little pricey). This is a big basket: 23.5" wide and 7.25" high. Because it is 18" deep, it extends past the 12" shelves. I personally had a difficult time installing the basket. It installs the same way as the sliding pants racks, which I really had a hard time installing. Even my husband complained and he's pretty handy. Just read the instructions carefully, and keep a screwdriver within arm's reach once you start inserting the brackets into the uprights. However, once installed, the sliding wire basket is wonderful. It glides in and out and holds a lot of stuff. The whole Rubbermaid Configurations closet system is affordable, attractive, and for the most part simple to install. I highly recommend all of it.Customer Review: Good little basket!
