Customer Review: Worth the Money

I just moved and I have been spending money on other necessities rather than bedroom furniture. But I still needed something affordable to store my clothes until I could get an actual dresser. I also wanted something that I could still use after I got furniture. This was perfect.
The word chest is very misleading because it is much smaller than what you think of when you hear chest. Don't expect to fit your entire winter wardrobe in one "chest." You'll need at least three. More than likely, you'll need four or five.
Also, I read in reviews that the cedar inserts are small...and I was like..psshhh...whatever. Well, it's true! They shouldn't even say that cedar inserts are included because it's such a disappointment. If they didn't even list that at all, it would have been a nice (very little) surprise. Instead, I thought...are these supposed to be the cedar inserts? They are flimsy little strips.
Also, keep in mind these are made of canvas. So they aren't great for stacking. But they are perfect for under the bed. Definitely worth $10.00 and I think they look much nicer than the plastic storage containers.

I use mine for DVDs and VHS tapes, so I don't mind that it is not air-tight. Since it is cloth, it might not be ideal for storing clothes in a basement or some place which would require a protective container for your clothes. Also, if you put something heavy in it (such as lots of DVDs), you wouldn't be able to move it frequently because of the flimsy bottom. Mine just sits on the ground and I get things out of it without moving it, which doesn't create that problem. But, if you're storing light-weight items in there and just put it in a clean space such as a closet, these things shouldn't be a problem. It is not heavy-duty, so don't expect to use it as such!Customer Review: Holds a lot of stuff, and matches other accessories.

This storage container holds a lot of my out-of-season clothes and is just the right size to fit on my Rubbermaid Configurations shelf. It is attractive and there are lots of other matching products to go along with the Rubbermaid closet system, my favorite being the 2-pak nesting bins. The cedar inserts, however, aren't what I expected--there are two, approximately 1" x 4" and about the thickness of an emory board. Not a big deal though and I do plan on ordering at least one more for storage.Customer Review: Great Closet Storage

Great product. Works well and looks good. Zips up to keep dust out & off of items inside.
Only negative is there is no stiffness (cardboard, etc) to the bottom, as it is only canvas. The sides are stiff though. The canvas bottom isn't really a huge deal if you are going to leave it sitting on a shelf or on the floor or if you store light weight items. Heavier items may pose a problem though if you are frequently picking up &/or moving this chest around.

It's fine- nothing spectacular but it did the job just fine. Worth the price. I put cardboard in the bottom so I could carry heavier items. The handles were not designed for heavy items. However- they were really stackable, fit perfectly in my car, arrived on time, did their job well and looked great upon arrival.
