I like the sink mat but I didn't notice that it has a pre-cut opening in the center for the sink drain. My drain is in the inside corner. It would have been great if this was specifically mentioned in the narrative. Otherwise this item works as it should and protects the bottom of the sink from scratches.Customer Review: Good, Scratches Cast Iron, Different Shades

I bought two of these, but a couple months apart. That may have been the reason for the different shades of gray. Same design, just different shades. They look good in my white sink. They also don't sit right against the sink surface, so it allows food to flow beneath it. I have a cast iron sink. But the little feet are hard and have been scratching the sink. So if you have a cast iron sink, I don't recommend buying these. If you don't put heavy objects on the mats or scrub pots on them, then it should be just fine. I mainly bought these to help reduce chipping of my dishes or noise.
