I originally purchased this item from an infomercial and found the replacement heads on amazon.com later. When I needed an additional mop of course they had that too. This model is as effective as the original, no more excess moisture left on hardwood floors or waiting long periods for the surface to dry. Also perfect for cleaning interior walls. The only difference is that they have upgraded wringing mechanism handle. It is now metal instead of the original plastic and should eliminate the need for replacement for a long time. I have had the original mop for 10+ yrs and it recently started cracking on the handle. The cause of this is most assuredly my kids trying to wring the mop before the head is moistened properly so not a defect but certainly an opportunity for improvement. With this adjustment I expect many years of satisfied use. It is my favorite household product!
